The revolutionary Buick Cascada has already garnered plenty of buzz, even before it was released. The premium convertible changed the way many people thought about Buick.
The automaker has realized something recently, though: you can’t offer a convertible without the color red.
So, after already launching the 2017 Cascada Sport Touring edition earlier this year in True Blue, Buick has listened to its fans and added a stunning, vibrant Sport Red color option.
The Buick Cascada in Sport Red is a wonder to behold: edgy and athletic while still maintaining the confident, upscale class Buick is known for.
“We’ve heard it from customers all year: ‘What a beautiful car. Can I get it in red?’ Well yes, now you can,” said Duncan Aldred, vice president of Global Buick Sales, Service, and Marketing. “This new addition to the Cascada portfolio offers a modern style statement with blacked-out exterior trim and red interior stitching.”
A new Dark Effects package is also part of the mix, adding gloss-black finish for the grille, mirror caps, and 20-inch wheels, along with special body color trim and contrast stitching.
If you’ve been considering buying a Cascada, but were waiting for some sportier color options, now is your chance. The Sport Red color option and Dark Effects package will be available for a limited time and in limited quantities.
It was announced in mid-August that there will be a new trim level available with the Buick Cascada convertible, which just debuted for the 2016 model year. The 2017 Buick Cascada Sport Touring Edition, or Cascada ST, includes a custom paint color, new wheel design, and more.
The ST is only offered in True Blue Metallic paint, which isn’t available on other Cascada models. The ST also has a black cloth top designed to create a quiet cabin, five-spoke 20-inch wheels, and Black Magic interior components. The Cascada ST’s sporty aspects are amped up in the ST, with sport pedals and a flat-bottom sport steering wheel.
The ST was first shown at the fifth annual Mille Mitten rally in Detroit, a 1,000-mile road trip through northern Michigan. The ST’s convertible top retracts in 17 seconds at speeds up to 31 miles per hour, one of many factors that make it a great road trip car. The Cascada and especially the ST were designed for road rally type adventures, so the Mille Mitten rally was the perfect place to debut the ST.
The Cascada ST is due to arrive in dealerships this fall and will be priced initially at $37,885. It will include all features and amenities offered on other Cascada models plus the Sport Touring features.
There are cars that win awards; then, there are cars that win awards before they’ve even gone into production, like the new Buick Avista Concept.
The Buick Avista concept recently earned the “Best Future Concept” Reader’s Choice Award from the Detroit News, as well as an EyesOn Design Award for Design Excellence for a Concept Car at the North American International Auto Show. This marks the second year running that a Buick concept vehicle has taken home the prestigious EyesOn Design title.
The Buick Avista Concept is an ultra-sleek compact coupe, engineered with ultimate performance at the top of its list of priorities. It features the new electronic precision shift technology, eight-speed automatic transmission, and a 2+2 layout. Even cooler (and more futuristic) are the touch-pad door handles and standard 3.0-liter twin turbocharged V6 engine. We hope that Buick decides to put this vehicle into production because we would love to see one of these puppies on the road!
2016 Buick LaCrosse Pictured Above
General Motors recently revealed a few teaser images of the upcoming 2017 Buick LaCrosse, via Twitter. The images don’t reveal much, as most of the model is silhouetted, but we can still gain some insight from the images.
The 2017 Buick LaCrosse teaser images reveal the general outline of the car’s profile, as well as a solid glimpse at the fender. More than ever, it appears as if the new LaCrosse will be based on the Avenir concept model.
You can get a good look at the teaser images here. What do you think? How are you hoping the final 2017 LaCrosse will look? It’s worth noting that a few spy images of the new LaCrosse in testing have been caught as well, though those photos aren’t official.
The 2017 Buick LaCrosse is set to get its full debut at the 2015 Los Angeles Auto Show. While we wait, consider paying us a visit here at Paul Sur Buick GMC, where we have an enormous selection of current Buick models available to test drive.
2016 Buick LaCrosse
Buick announced that it is taking some of the sleek and futuristic design cues for the new LaCrosse from the Avenir concept model. The exterior is getting a complete redesign, from bumper to bumper. We can’t wait to see this new model in action.
According to USA Today, the Avenir premiered at several auto shows this year, and draws from several classic Buick designs. In fact, the model steals some looks from the 1954 Wildcat II, another concept model, which will give the Buick LaCrosse’s exterior design a unique retro look.
“The Avenir concept shattered expectations of what a Buick could be and the 2017 LaCrosse promises to do the same,” says Duncan Aldred, vice president of Buick. “Its expressive design represents a break from convention and highlights the progressiveness in all new Buick models.”
Although there’s no official plan yet, Buick said that this look will be use on the LaCrosse by 2017, and would spread to other models in the lineup by 2018. This is just one more reason Buick is an industry leader when it comes to things like styling.
2016 Buick Regal
Buick’s made a name for itself by offering entry-level vehicles at near-mass market vehicle prices. Now, with Buick sedan sales falling, the offers are about to get even better. With consumers turning to crossovers amidst low gas prices, fuel-efficient sedans and coupes are left on lots. In an effort to move more sedans, Buick has dropped the price of the midsized Regal.
The largest cut in the 2016 Buick Regal’s price hit the highest trim, the GS. With the $3,300 reduction, the sedan comes in at $34,990. That isn’t the only price cut. Other trims are also dropping $1,000 to $2,500 in price for the 2016 model year.
“We have to take a step back and make sure we have the basics right,” said Duncan Aldred, head of the Buick brand in the US. “The Regal pricing was out of line.”
There’s still time for Buick to refresh and retool its United States lineup though. China is the brand’s largest market. Over 919,000 vehicles were sold in the country in 2014 alone. In the United States, the number of Buicks sold in 2014 fell under 230,000.
We here at Paul Sur Buick GMC are proud to see Buick taking a fresh look at the US lineup to offer customers a better deal than ever before!
2015 Buick Verano
Buick is known for offering top-level luxury without a premium price, so it comes as no surprise that the luxury American carmaker recently announced new base prices for the Buick Regal and Buick Verano. Both of these premium sedans will introduce a new base trim level, the 1SV, to offer more savings to those consumers that want unbeatable luxury at a budget price.
“We added this new base level to some models as a means of expanding the opportunity for more customers to experience Buick vehicles,” said Nick Richards, Buick spokesperson. “The addition of these trims will create an increased awareness and consideration of these vehicles when being compared to the competition.”
The Regal will be available in the 1SV trim level, starting at $27,065. This is a $2,925 decrease compared to the next trim level. Even though the price is lower, consumers will still get leather seats, but will have a slightly less powerful 2.4-liter four-cylinder engine without eAssist. The Buick Verano base price will see a significant $2,315 price drop compared to the next higher trim, also offering the humbler 2.4-liter engine.

Buick is gearing up for a Knife Fight!
Recently, the American car manufacturer announced a unique partnership with the Esquire network, in which Buick crossovers and sedans will be ”organically” integrated throughout season three of the network’s hit culinary show Knife Fight.
The show features star chef Ilan Hall, who hosts a cooking competition, in which the participants have one hour to prepare a meal using mystery ingredients.
So just how does Buick fit in?
Throughout the season’s 15 episodes, Buick will be featured in “pantry tours” highlighting the newest features of the Buick Regal GS and the automobile will also be used to chauffer chefs around Brooklyn.
“This partnership strategically connects both audiences through an immersive 360-degree solution with custom content and illustrates Esquire Network’s unique advertising opportunities,” said Deena Stern, SVP, marketing solutions E! and Esquire Network

2015 Buick Enclave at the Chicago Auto Show
The Buick Enclave and Encore make up a formidable one-two punch for the brand in the currently booming crossover market. Therefore, it simply makes sense that the brand would look to create new and improved versions of those models to attract even more customers to the segments. That’s exactly what they’ve done with the new Buick Enclave Tuscan Edition, which brings the Tuscan design aesthetic “home” to your vehicle.
The Tuscan Edition, which will be available on the Leather and Premium trims of the 2016 Buick Enclave, will feature a special bronze-colored grille as well as bronze-tinted 20-inch wheels. You can get the Tuscan Edition in white, brown, or black exterior paint colors, all of which highlight the bronze tinting extremely well.
The Tuscan Edition recently debuted at the New York Auto Show, where it got to show off all that special bronze flare. On the Leather and Premium editions, you’ll also get a 3.6-liter V6 with 288 horsepower, a power moonroof, a heated steering wheel, Wi-Fi capability, and even a powered liftgate. Check out the Enclave on display in New York, then come see us at Paul Sur Buick GMC to learn how to take Tuscany with you wherever you go in the new Enclave.
Buick is ranked by J.D. Power as one of the top 20 in dealer service.
If you want quality customer service, then look no further than a Buick dealership. The Buick brand was recently recognized as one of the top 20 mass-market brands in dealer service satisfaction, according to the 2015 J.D. Power U.S. Customer Service Index Study. This honor highlights how buying a Buick isn’t just about getting a premium-level car for a value-oriented price—it’s about getting terrific customer service, too.
“Superior reliability, quality, and customer service is core to every model we bring to the market,” said Duncan Aldred, vice president of Buick. “Leading the market in service satisfaction demonstrates that we and our dealers continue to deliver on that commitment.”
The winners of this accolade were determined from data gathered from a survey taken of owners and lessees of vehicles that were 1 to 5 years old. This survey asked the individual car owners what their satisfaction with the product was, focusing on five specific areas—service quality, service initiation, service advisor, service facility, and vehicle pick-up.
